Kennedi Bates Art is based in Nashville, TN and provides live wedding painting that entertains guests and captures the emotion and feeling of your Big Day while creating a keepsake to take home. ​

If you are interested in a wedding painting but are on a budget or eloping, then studio wedding commissions may be the perfect solution!

The Process

Planning Your

Heirloom

Before the wedding, we will discuss the details and determine how the wedding will be captured and on what size canvas.

 I require a 50% retainer fee and a contract to secure your date. Flexible payment options are available if you'd like. Currently, my pricing starts at $1800 for an 18x24 size.

One month before the wedding, I will check in to make sure everything is still as we last discussed. 

I will coordinate with your venue, photographer, and wedding planner (if applicable) beforehand and arrive early to paint the backdrop of your painting. As guests filter in, they love to watch, chat, and gather around the painting as it unfolds. During the reception hour, excitement builds as the colors, faces, fabric, and love come to life with each brushstroke. Everything comes together until, finally, the painting is unveiled! The very essence of the night is captured in paint for the couple to relive every time they gaze at their keepsake.

The Big Day

Receiving Your

Heirloom

The painting may need to return to my studio after the wedding. Depending on the size and level of detail, the painting may take 1-3 months before returning to you because of the amount of time needed for oil paint to dry. When you receive your painting, it will be carefully wrapped with thoughtful touches. I will hand-deliver it, if possible, or ship.
