Frequently Asked Questions

What materials do you use?

I use professional, archival-quality materials, including oil paints, Galkyd medium, and varnish, and quality cotton canvas to ensure your piece lasts more than a lifetime. If you desire a larger canvas, then we may arrange that.

What can you add in the painting?

Just about anything! Choose any moment that you would like to be memorialized, whether that your vows, first dance, exchanging cake, or other pose at any time of day. We will collaborate to discuss any specific details you would like added, including time of day, pets, wedding flowers, family members, and even passed family members to make your artwork truly personal.

Do you travel?

Yes, I travel! If you live more than 70 miles of my location (which includes the Nashville, Clarkesville, Jackson and Florence areas), then travel costs will be applied to the total price.

Do you paint other kinds of events?

Yes! If you have an event other than a wedding you would like for me to paint, please contact me! Events include:

  • Elopements

  • Anniversaries

  • Birthdays

  • Concerts

  • Festivals

  • Parties

How do I pay?

I accept cash, Venmo, Cashapp, Apple Pay, and PayPal.

There are three ways to pay.

  1. (one part) one lump sum to secure your date.

  2. (two parts) 50% of your total payment due to secure your date, and the remainder is due the day before the event.

  3. (three parts) Or, 25% to secure your date, 25% in a second payment, and the remainder due the day before the event.

What will it cost?

Live wedding painting includes live entertainment and travel in addition to the materials, skill, experience, and, of course, the artwork produced.

Pricing varies depending on venue, level of detail, people included, canvas size, and potential travel fees. Prices start at $1,800 and a 50% deposit fee is required to confirm your date.

I'm not interested in the "live event" part. Can you paint something from your studio instead?

Yes! If you would love to have a piece of art minus the live painting, studio commissions start at $250.
