The Process

Confirm & Consult
​After discussing the initial details, a phone call will be scheduled to confirm the elements of the painting (venue, theme, pose, guests included, etc.) A quote will be shared and contract sent for both parties to sign.

A 50% retainer fee is required to confirm the date, and the other 50% before the date of the event.
​
*Other payment schedules may be set up if requested by client.

The Big Day
I will arrive 2-3 hours early to set up my oil paints and other materials, then begin working on the piece. I will take reference photos of a specific pose that you've chosen to represent in the painting. Throughout the event, the painting will unfold. ​Guests may come up, chat, and even participate in the process!

Receiving the Painting
The painting may need to return to my studio for finishing touches and varnishing. Depending on the size and level of detail, the painting may take 1-4 months before returning to you because of the amount of time needed for oil paint to dry.
It will be worth the wait!
